Part 2 of my impromptu Senior Trip series. This and the Gettysburg shot (and a few others coming up) are from all up the East Coast, USA. This is a particular shot from some state park in Newport, Rhode Island. It's funny because we were all supposed to be flying kites, but cheap kites + lots'a wind = no good. It was too windy and cold to really get any decent shots. For one thing, ALL the parents wanted pictures of ALL of us and then there were group shots and then there was not slipping off the rocks and dying and trying to take in the scenery all at once. It makes one very stressful and causes massive run on sentences.
I call it "How the other half lives" because we are a small senior class (like 30) and come from a small, rural town and make modest money. On the other hand, behind us, there are multi-million dollar homes for people who probably only spend two weeks in them and still make more money than I will ever see. Hey, it's better than the original title - "Zombies on the beach"
mine's a point, threaten, fiddle with, change all defaults, threaten again, smack, point again, and hope shutter doesn't get stuck. THEN shoot, but only on a good day with ideal lighting and stationary surroundings.
and a fresh set of batteries only lasts 30 minutes.
the camera on my phone is much nicer in every way, except that it can't deal with moderate to low light, which means i can't take pictures on cloudy days. ;____;

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
